Chamberlain Music provides an assortment of sticks from Percussion Workshop, Stagg, SONIX, Vic, Promark and Percussion Plus in a variety of sizes and types
7A drumsticks are a thin stick ideal for jazz and marching band performances, and they are also good with orchestra performances. Some examples of 7A sticks we supply are the Percussion Workshop 7A drum sticks with wooden tips and the Percussion Plus drum stick brick maple 7A.
Slightly thicker than 7A sticks, 5A drumsticks are good for playing rock and jazz performances. Some 5A sticks we supply include the Percussion Workshop 5A drumsticks with wooden tips and the Percussion Plus drum stick brick maple 5A.
5B drumsticks are thicker than both 7A and 5A sticks, and due to this they are great to use in rock and metal performances and are especially handy for more intermediate drummers. Examples of 5B drumsticks we have available are the Percussion Workshop 5B drumsticks with wooden tips and the Percussion Plus drum stick brick maple 5B.
To create a softer tone with your drumming, drum brushes can create a range of swoosh and shushing sounds to add more atmosphere for jazz and orchestral performances. Some good drum brushes we provide are the Vic Firth VF-HB heritage brushes, Stagg SBRU20-WM telescopic wire brushes with wooden handle, Stagg SBRU20-RM telescopic wire brushes with rubber handle, and the Stagg SBRU15-RN nylon brushes with black rubber handle grip.
When you want to create a soft sound that isn’t quite as soft as the sound created by drum brushes, hot rods are the perfect middle ground between wooden sticks and brushes and are essential an essential part to any drummer’s accessories. An example of hot rods we have available are the Promark Hot Rods.
Nylon tips are ideal for keeping a more consistent sound than you get with wooden tip sticks, and they’re ideal for drumming performances that require a lot of heavy hitting such as rock as they won’t chip. Examples of nylon tip drumsticks we supply are the Vic Firth American Class drum sticks in 5B nylon, 5A nylon and 7A nylon.
