Chamberlain Music is a Department for Education approved supplier for the Musical Instruments, Equipment & Technology Framework
Chamberlain Music is a leading supplier and reseller of musical instruments and accessories.
Our company was founded in a small shop in Weyhill, Haslemere UK in 1990 and we have grown steadily over the last 35 years. In January 2023 we moved to superb new premises, with offices and piano showroom directly opposite our existing 30,000ft warehouse - all just 500 yards from our first retail music store. We have around 40 staff most of whom are based in our Haslemere offices and warehouse, with some working from home and some in our Leicestershire workshops.
We are part of the Frederick Hyde group, and our brands include Musisca, MMX, Percussion Plus, Octopus Ukulele, Recorder Workshop and Tom & Will. Our warehouse holds around £2.5m of musical instruments, all of which are available to purchase online, by phone, email or in person by appointment.
Since we opened our doors, we’ve supplied instruments, equipment, and goods to almost every educational institution in the UK — that’s more than 30,000 schools and colleges.
Our customers also include choirs & orchestras, education suppliers & retail music stores, catalogue companies and international consolidators and of course the wider musical community. Many of our products are available outside of the UK via distributors and retailers worldwide.
You are only as good as your staff and our team are amazing - It is with huge pride that out of almost forty staff, more than ten have been with our company for over fifteen years and many more for at least five years.
We employ talented musicians, skilled technicians, marketing professionals and music industry experts and we’re delighted to share our collective knowledge with customers whenever the opportunity arises.
Our Haslemere premises is home to an impressive piano showroom, with over 80 new and pre-owned instruments available to play at any one time. We have dedicated brand rooms for Kawai & Yamaha acoustic grand and upright pianos, as well as an extensive display of second-hand models encompassing the likes of Steinway and Fazioli. Our digital piano selection also showcases an exceptional range of instruments from renowned manufacturers like Nord, Yamaha, Kawai and Roland.
The piano showroom is overseen by our team of knowledgeable experts, and we even offer one-to-one appointments to help find the perfect instrument for you.
