With renowned Yamaha quality at an affordable price, these keyboards have a great modern design and can be powered with either 6 x AA batteries or with the included PA-130A power supply.
The YPT keyboards weigh very little, and they are light enough to take anywhere easily. Running on batteries also means they can be used for performances when you are out and about. You also have the option to connect your audio player and listen to, or play along with you favourite songs through the instrument’s speakers.

Yamaha 9 step lesson function (Yamaha education suite)
The Yamaha education suite is a set of features found on many of Yamaha’s portable keyboards, which help teach the user valuable musical skills such as note/chord recognition, timing and more.
The YTP range keyboards all include Yamaha’s 9 step lesson function as a feature to help you develop and improve as a pianist which makes these keyboards great value for money.
With three stages for the left hand, three for the right hand and three for both, this feature helps beginning players to practice the songs that are stored in the instrument. There’s a scoring function that makes it fun to practice and improve, and a ‘waiting’ function that adjusts the temp to the person playing.
