The Elkhart 100SSU Student curved soprano saxophone is an instrument perfect for beginners, as it offers good quality for the price tag, great for those on a budget but that still want an instrument that will last. For the straight bodied version, see the 100SS.
Not only does it allow the smaller player to get used to the balance and feel of a standard alto saxophone, it also looks elegant! The differences in tone between a straight and curved soprano are minimal, especially in the student models, however we would always recommend trying them out if you can to determine the right fit for you.
