This 20" fusion drum kit is the smallest in the Comet series, but still packs plenty of punch and comes in a selection of sleek and vibrant colours.

The heart of the Comet Series lies in its 9 Ply, 7.2mm Poplar Shells, coupled with Mapex SONIClear Bearing Edges. Allowing the drumhead to sit flatter, SONIClear Bearing Edge gives better contact with the shell. The result of this combination is a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, and a significantly expanded tuning range.

The Mapex Comet kit is also available in bebop and rock fusion sizes.

Upgraded from Tornado, 14” Hi-Hat and 16” Crash cymbals offer a bright and clear tone with improved durability and response. Mapex Comfort Curve wingnuts and wingbolts across the full hardware set are very reliable, and the convenience of the Comet kit is increased by the TH6215 single tom holder offers 360-degree adjustment, making tom set up quick and secure.
