Introducing the Admira Mlaga classical guitar - 4/4 size

The Admira Malaga guitar is Spanish-built and specially designed to suit guitarists with short reach or small hands. The neck is very similar to that of the ever popular 'Almeria' guitar but it is much slimmer, allowing for younger or smaller players to play more comfortably.

High quality design

The guitar boasts a solid cedar top which lends itself well to the Spanish style of playing as it produces a warmer, more direct sound than the alternative 'solid spruce' top. The back and sides are crafted from 'sapelli' wood, which tonally does the same as mahogany but has a slightly improved treble sound. The fingerboard is made from African mahogany, which is renowned for being strong and durable making it all the better for younger, enthusiastic players! The head is then fitted with nickel machines, which effectively help to maintain accurate tuning.

Great for players with smaller hands

All in all, this is an excellent guitar for players with a short reach, small hands or simply those who prefer a guitar which responds to a lighter touch. It's also a great starter guitar for players young and old, since even with the tone quality of a much higher-end instrument, the neck size and action has been specially designed to suit smaller hands. It's comfortable to play, and has a fantastic finish so you can look stylish while playing.

Well finished with a pleasant tone from the cedar top. I chose this model since I have comparatively small hands and this model is well suited.

This guitar is beautifully in tune, the frets are perfect. Some people have complained about buzz on these but there's none on mine. It has good sustain and good dynamics (you can express yourself with it). The top is tonally very good. The neck and fingerboard is tonally a little lacking in presence / midrange, but this is the tradeoff for having a neck which is thinner i. e. smaller in thickness between the fretboard and the back of the neck. IMHO you can't do better for the price; an in-tune instrument with easy thin neck and slightly lower string height. Much recommended for beginners - at this level of quality you can be confident that if it sounds crummy it's you.

Excellent price arrived in perfect condition the next day. Highly recommended.
