Introducing the Denis Wick DW5510 plunger trumpet / cornet mute

This plunger trumpet / cornet mute is another example of Denis Wick’s quality and attention to detail. The design of this plunger mute results in a more focused and dramatic ‘wah’ effect that is unmatched by any other maker. This mute is ideal for jazz bands and musicians.

It’s made from high purity spun aluminium, which gives it excellent intonation and carrying power. It’s also got hard PVC protective edges for long-lasting durability, and a flock-sprayed interior. Plus, the silver anodised brushed finish gives this mute a high-quality look and sound.

The plunger can be "closed" for a tone similar to a tightly inserted cup mute, while manipulating it from open to closed can add many different effects to your sound.
