The JP191MKII is the perfect student bassoon, built to ensure a smooth learning experience for players of all ages. Durable silver plated keywork is laid out in the popular short reach design to suit small hands while keeping all the range and functionality of a full sized instrument.
Now in its second generation, the latest improvements to its intonation and tone mean it can now realistically compete with instruments that cost twice as much. A redesigned bell not only ensure a more powerful tone, but also makes the bassoon more ergonomic, allowing for a smaller case and easier storage. Further ease is provided by the playing spike and sling ring to aid in comfort and playability. Its beautiful lacquered maple body is fitted with an adjustable spike and balancing arm and dismantles into four sections.
