The bongos are an important part of the Afro-Cuban family of rhythm instruments. Consisting of two drums attached together, each bongo is pre-tuned: the smaller one is high pitched and the larger at a lower pitch. This allows the player to switch between pitches and adds diversity and dynamic to the music.

Also, the drum skin has a customised graphic design which is defined without the need for a laminated coating.
