Durable, lightweight construction

At just 405g, it is considerably lighter than the equivalent student clarinets from brands such as Buffet, Jupiter and Yamaha - the Buffet Prodige comes in at 712g and the Jupiter JCL700 weighs 742g! Constructed from a lightweight, durable engineering polymer blended for a high strength-to-weight ratio, the reduced weight of the clarinet ensures good posture for extended practice sessions among even the youngest, smallest players. Suitable for ages 5+, this clarinet is geared towards beginner players and can easily support learners all the way up to grade 5, so the lightness is brilliant for encouraging excellent playing habits.

The Bb-sized mouthpiece features a fast-action ligature, operable with one hand, which is compatible with NUVO Band reeds or traditional cane reeds.

Clean them effortlessly with hot soapy water, or for a quick clean between uses, spray with an appropriate woodwind disinfectant and wipe with a dry cloth. Perfect for shared or loaned instruments in school or band settings.
