Introducing the Nord Electro 6D keyboard

The Nord Electro 6 combines award-winning emulations of vintage electro mechanical and acoustic instruments in an ultra-portable package. With 3 independent sound sections, a new streamlined user interface, and the addition of Seamless Transitions, these velocity sensitive semi weighted keyboards are powerful and flexible models.

The new streamlined Program section features a handy Organise mode including Copy/Paste and Move functionality for quickly arranging your Programmes to your desired order, while Page View lets you easily sort and organise pages as a song list.

Layer and advanced split functionality

The panel has three independent sound sections; Organ, Piano and Sample Synth that can be used simultaneously as a layer or a split. It features 6 Split Points, and a Split Point Crossfade functionality introduced with the Stage 3 for smooth transitions between two split zones. Choose from 3 different crossfade widths (Small, Large or Off) as indicated by different LED colours.

Award-winning sounds

The Nord Electro 6 features an authentic B3 Tonewheel engine, classic Transistor and Pipe Organ simulations, and the latest vintage 122 Rotary Speaker. It also offers Dual Organ Mode and Digital LED Drawbars for enhanced control and performance.

Authentic piano tones

The Electro 6 offers a wide selection of Grands, Uprights, Electric, and Digital Pianos from the Nord Piano Library, featuring dynamic layered patches and advanced sampling for stunning realism. It includes replaceable sounds, piano filters for added tonal control, Soft Release for legato playing, and 4 dynamic curves to match your style. Regular updates to the Nord Piano Library ensure fresh, world-class sounds.

Sample synth section

This impressive instrument offers essential controls for attack, decay/release, dynamics, and velocity-sensitive filters. It comes with 512 MB of memory dedicated to the Nord Sample Library and includes 100 preloaded samples. You can easily replace sounds via Nord Sound Manager and create custom samples using the free Nord Sample Editor. With 46 voice polyphony, it ensures smooth performance for all your sounds.

Effect section

There are a wide range of effects on offer, including Tremolo, 2 Wahs, Auto-Wah, AutoPan, and Ring Modulator, ideal for creating unique textures. It also features classic analog effects like Phasers, Choruses, Flanger, and Vibe. The Amp Sim provides authentic JC, Twin, and Small speaker simulations, plus Tube Drive and Compressor. Additional features include a 3-band EQ, Delay with Tap Tempo and Ping-Pong mode, and three Reverb types (Hall, Stage, Room), each with a Bright mode for added ambiance.
