The P-145BT offers the minimal number of features in the P Series, focusing on offering a highly playable and authentic experience thanks to its simple design and ease of operations. Compared to previous models equipped with a GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) keyboard, the P-145BT features a much shorter and thinner body design with a simple yet more modern and compact style.

Whether you’re a professional musician, advanced piano player or an enthusiastic beginner, the P-145BT is the perfect choice. Unlike the standard P-145, it features built-in Bluetooth audio, which lets you pair this instrument with your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet to listen to your favorite music through the instrument’s speakers. You can also play along with the sound coming from the instrument’s speakers.

Graded hammer compact keyboard

Yamaha developed the GHC keyboard so they could achieve such an impressive compact design. The GHS keyboards used in the P-series have received high praise from customers for the excellent balance and ease of playing, and this new keyboard offers even better response than its predecessors, making it the best weighted acoustic piano-like playing feel in its class.

Upgraded with the sound of a full grand piano

Yamaha is well known for the quality and premium sound of their pianos, and with the P-145BT, you can enjoy the CFIIIS, the origin of Yamaha’s best sounding concert grands.

The P-145BT incorporates a new speaker system that has been adjusted to replicate the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano as closely as possible. These adjustments let you enjoy playing with sharp and clear mid- to high-range tones and a prominent low-end for a well-balanced sound, even when the piano is set up against a wall.

This keyboard also features a damper resonance function that realistically reproduces the rich resonance sound you hear when pressing the damper pedal, for an even fuller sound. Now you can enjoy creating the sound of a concert grand that’s been played and loved by renowned pianists.

Take your music with you

The P-145BT is more portable than the previous models, and includes many new features which will take portable pianos to a whole new level. This stylish, modern design takes up even less space in your room, so you can place it wherever you like. And thanks to Yamaha, you can easily take your piano with you to the studio, to parties, events, live gigs, on a trip, or wherever you go.

Smart Pianist app

By linking the P-145BT with Yamaha’s dedicated Smart Pianist digital piano app, you can access all of the piano’s features and intuitively perform all operations from the screen of your smart device. There’s no longer any need to pull out the manual to see how things work.

The app also adds new possibilities for the player to explore and get creative with. Recordings can be done using the Smart Pianist app, making it easy for you to record both a video and audio of your performance. If you want to share your music on platforms such as YouTube or TikTok, Rec’n’Share is the way to go.

In addition, the Smart Pianist app comes with PDF scores which include 303 classical pieces for practice, such as Bayer, Burgmüller, Czerny, Hanon and more, which you can access for free and use on the screen of your smart device.

Optional stand and pedal board

The P-145BT is compatible with the L-100B stand and LP-5A pedal board, for a more authentic piano playing experience, both sold separately.
