The Perception P3 S is a high-performance dynamic microphone ideal for backing vocals, guitar and wind instruments. Its cardioid polar pattern picks up sound from in front of the microphone while reducing feedback and unwanted noise from behind. The Perception P3 S provides a sturdy metal case and wire-mesh grille for exceptional ruggedness. The microphone offers a convenient on/off switch for noiseless muting.

Ideal for vocals, guitars & wind instruments

The P3-S Dynamic Microphone from AKG is the perfect solution for vocalists and guitarists. It can also be used for wind or brass instruments. Whatever you want to mic up, the P3-S can adapt to it admirably. The cardioid polar pattern provides a wide frequency range that has been optimised for both applications. This cardioid pattern is designed to capture sound from the front of the microphone, whilst reducing feedback and unwanted noise from behind. The resulting sound is clear and powerful, capturing the subtle overtones of both vocalists and instrumentalists.

Robust construction

The sturdy metal housing not only looks sleek but makes the microphone highly durable. The heavy-duty metal body can withstand the rigours of live use. The rugged wire mesh cap features and internal windscreen, designed to remove unwanted wind noise and other problematic vibrations. Additionally, the microphone comes complete with an SA45 stand adapter and a microphone bag for storing and transporting your microphone.
