Fantastic resonance
To pull the best possible sound out of the maple shells, Pearl have applied a number of smart details to ensure optimal resonance. The most obvious is the three point OptiLoc tom-mount system that suspends the toms via two tension rods and one of two vents so that minimum contact is made with the shell. The lugs have also been kept as small and lightweight as possible to reduce the load on the shell walls, giving the maple the room it needs to fully resonate.
It produces incredibly resonant highs and thundering lows, making it a great choice not only for the advancing student but also for a seasoned pro.
The kits are available in two sizes – Fusion and Rock.
