Introducing the Percussion Play A-minor Cattails - set of 6

Whether you call them cattails, reeds or bullrushes, these sleek chimes are instantly recognisable as the slender marsh plant with tall stems and dark brown velvety heads.

Great for playful interactions along nature trails, in parks or in woodlands, citizens can stop and enjoy a moment of musical mindfulness while exploring the great outdoors. Built from light bronze cylindrical adonized aluminium and attached to stainless steel 'stems', the instrument is durably built and made to withstand harsh conditions outdoors.

Sent with two different end caps to choose from, the closed end cap gives a flush finish, while the pointed end caps replicate the staminate of the cattail. Both will prevent debris from entering the chime and affecting the sound produced, while still blending in seamlessly with nature.

Mindful, relaxing sound

The chimes produce a soothing, mellow sound when struck with the small, soft green mallets arriving with the instrument. This makes the Percussion Play cattail the perfect, mindful addition to any outdoor public space.

Surface mounted vs Ground install

There are two ways to install this Percussion Play product:

Surface mounted

The leg is attached to a base plate, which is then fixed into the ground using anchors. This provides a brilliant level of stability whilst making it possible to move the product around with relative ease.

Ground install

The leg is directly embedded into the ground, providing excellent, long-lasting stability. However, once placed, the instrument will be very hard to move - perfect for permanent installations.
