Introducing the Percussion Play penta post

This colourful cluster of five rainbow-coloured chimes features pentatonic tuning in C Major (C5-C6), which means that there are no wrong notes. With a compact design, this great sounding instrument is perfectly suited for small hands to play. It comes with attached beaters, which help children develop hand strength and dexterity. Plus, the vibrantly coloured bars are assigned to a rainbow scale, making it fun and easy to play alongside Percussion Play’s other rainbow instruments.

Expertly crafted, these chimes produce a bright and soothing sound that encourages creativity and musical exploration. The penta post is suitable for any early years play setting, such as pre-schools, playgrounds, sensory play areas, and more.

Get everyone involved

This inclusive play equipment provides fun for players of any age or ability. It supports SEND learning by helping to improve hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and motor skills in an interactive and engaging way. The stand is also designed to be at the right height for young children, making it easy for them to join in.

Built for outdoor use

The Percussion Play penta post is built from durable, weather-proof materials that perform well in even the most challenging outdoor environments. Each chime is securely attached to a single, thick metal post, ensuring sturdiness and longevity.

Surface mounted vs Ground install

There are two ways to install this Percussion Play product:

Surface mounted

The leg is attached to a base plate, which is then fixed into the ground using anchors. This provides a brilliant level of stability, whilst making it possible to move the product around with relative ease.

Ground install

The leg is directly embedded into the ground, providing excellent, long-lasting stability. However, once placed, the instrument will be very hard to move - perfect for permanent installations.
