Introducing the Percussion Play musical stepping stones

These colourful stepping stones offer a unique way to add some musical entertainment to a walkway, public play area, sensory path, or school playground. They deliver a multi-sensory experience for people of all ages, surprising them and grabbing their attention, which adds an element of fun to any outdoor space.

Players can have fun discovering each bell by stepping on different spots, or by jumping with both feet to play the chord. When struck, each bell emits a pure tone with a long sustain, and the sound intensifies the harder you jump!

Plus, these stepping stones are assigned to a rainbow scale, making it fun and easy to play alongside Percussion Play’s other rainbow instruments.

Please note: this instrument is not suitable for installation with loose surfaces such as engineered wood fiber.

Create a tune

Each of the six square stones secretly hides a musical chord beneath it, which is easily activated by a step, jump, or push. These stones use the same technology as Percussion Play’s floor pianos, but with each ‘note’ hiding an uplifting major or minor triad chord of three bells.

The Percussion Play musical stepping stones are built from strong, weather-proof materials that perform well and are made to last, even in the most challenging outdoor environments. Each stone is covered in a durable non-slip anti-corrosion coating.

Limited 25 Year Warranty - on metalwork used in the supporting structure of stands and frames, against structural failure caused by deterioration due to exposure to weather or by defective materials or workmanship.

Limited 10 Year Warranty - on timber, composite, aluminium and stainless steel components (includes notes and fixings), against structural failure caused by deterioration due to exposure to weather or by defective materials or defective workmanship.

NB: These Limited Warranties do not include fading of colours, damage due to excessive wear and tear, vandalism, or negligence.
