Introducing the Percussion Play tubular bells

This set of 7 aluminum bells features pentatonic tuning in C Major (A3-C5), which means that there are no wrong notes. They produce strikingly deep tones, with outstanding resonance that you can feel as well as hear. Simple yet beautiful, these tall bells offer an architectural feature and a unique auditory experience - perfect for school playgrounds, parks, and sensory gardens.

Each bell ranges in heigh, from 1.6m to 2.2m, and they are all 100mm in diameter. The set also comes with two metal posts, each with a large mallet attached by steel cables that offer considerable range. The soft mallets make it easier for players to create bold and soothing music.

There are various ways that the chimes can be arranged, but it is recommended that they are put in a horseshoe shape to create a surround-sound effect and noticeable vibrations for anyone standing in the middle.

Get everyone involved

This inclusive, sensory rich play equipment provides fun for players of any age or ability. It supports SEND learning by helping to improve hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and motor skills in an interactive and engaging way. Whether your old, young, or disabled, everyone can get involved and create music together.

Built for outdoor use

The Percussion Play tubular bells are built using durable, weather-proof materials that perform well in even the harshest outdoor environments. The centre post is strengthened, and the outer tubes are fixed using stainless steel security screws at the top and bottom, preventing vandalism and theft.

Surface mounted vs Ground install

There are two ways to install this Percussion Play product:

Surface mounted

The leg is attached to a base plate, which is then fixed into the ground using anchors. This provides a brilliant level of stability, whilst making it possible to move the product around with relative ease.

Ground install

The leg is directly embedded into the ground, providing excellent, long-lasting stability. However, once placed, the instrument will be very hard to move - perfect for permanent installations.
