The concert chair’s elegant appearance is made for on stage performances in the world’s top performing arts venues. The seat and back are crafted from one piece of high-quality wood and can be custom stained to match an auditorium. For upholstered chairs, the seat and back padding are formed from extremely firm foam and are hand upholstered with the highest quality fabric. This chair not only offers an aesthetical value, but it has also been expertly designed to offer superior support and comfort for musicians, whilst encouraging good playing posture.
The chair is incredibly ergonomic with its narrow back and freedom for musicians to move their arms and shoulders freely. A horizontal seat enables the musician’s feet to rest firmly on the floor. The front legs are also positioned to allow musicians to sit asymmetrically. The chair also has a height adjustable option available, which offers orchestral musicians more flexibility and allows the chair to be adjusted to each user’s unique sitting position.
The frame is manufactured from sturdy steel and are coated with a black anti-scratch powder coat for maximum durability and a sleek finish, and the legs have foot pads which prevent damage to the floor or stage. Each chair can be stacked and stored compactly between performances and rehearsals.
