This highly portable and extremely lightweight aluminium Scherzo music stand, weighs only 0.675kg, which is about half as much as the average stand on the market. It consequently makes an excellent choice for both the young student and the travelling musician.

A button found on the back of the tray allows the tray angle to be adjusted using only one hand.

I am pleased with this music stand, but it is not quite tall enough for playing from when standing up, and I am only 5’3! It could do with one more adjustment upwards. I always practise standing up. The music stand is perfect for playing from when sitting down, eg for orchestral rehearsals etc It’s good quality and lightweight and folds easily into its case. Thank you.

Lightweight but sturdy,this is my second one. Arrived on time and a good price.Tightening mechanism better than original,over the years screw weakened.
Sturdy enough for orchestral music but very light. Improvement on Rat 1 stand as it folds up much smaller to fit into bag or rucksack. Super fast delivery.

The stand is very flimsy, the metal flexing and only suitable for a few pages of music. Very disappointed with the product and I have returned to you for a refund.

I love my new Rat stand. When folded, it's a little bigger than my previous one (which I lost), but very much lighter. A colleague commented on how stable and sturdy it looked. I thought I might struggle with the opening and closing but I got it right first time. Many thanks. Glad I lost the other! Pam, aged nearly 80.

So far so good. I’ve learned how to open and close it without the Norman Wisdom impression and seems remarkably sturdy and stable for something so light. It has a good deep gutter for a music score but also holds a couple of sheets tight. As I sit to play it goes down very low but extends upwards higher than most would ever need it to. I like it!

Lightest stand I could find, easy to carry, east to assemble and holds lots of music.
Sturdy lightweight music stand. Easy to adjust. Useful carry bag included. Great price too. Even with postage worked out cheaper than all the other online retailers even when some had free postage. Great buy.
A very nice and ultra light stand with clasps just what I wanted.
Very lightweight, the clips are better for my hands than the usual turn screws. Easy to carry and fold down, I wonder how durable it will be but so long at it last long enough related to price paid then K am very happy as it is what I wanted, lightweight and easy to put up and down , no more struggling with tired hands at the end of a long rehearsal!

Excellent lightweight stand, which as advertised is shorter when folded than other lightweights. Easy to erect, with plenty of height, because of the design of the tripod legs.
