Introducing the Stentor Student II cello outfit
The Stentor Student II cello is an excellent choice for students looking to step up from their first cello. This instrument would be ideal for a player looking to upgrade from a Stentor Student I, returning to the instrument after a break, or anyone who wants to start with a higher-quality cello.
Each Stentor cello is carved from solid tonewoods and features inlaid purfling, which not only enhances the instrument’s strength by preventing cracks from spreading but also contributes to a richer sound. The wood is carefully selected for its acoustic properties. The cello comes with an ebony fingerboard and ebony pegs for extra stability, as well as a composite tailpiece with integral adjusters. (For 1/10 and 1/16 sizes, the tailpiece is made of alloy with integral adjusters.)
The outfit also includes a full-mounted Brazilwood bow with natural horsehair and an ebony frog, along with a protective padded nylon case equipped with safety reflectors and accessory pockets. For added convenience, shoulder straps are provided, making it easier to transport the cello to and from lessons or orchestra practices.
