Introducing the Stentor Conservatoire cello outfit
The Stentor Conservatoire cello outfit is chosen by intermediate players or above and is often recommended by teachers as a step-up instrument for students. It produces a wonderfully warm, mellow sound that offers an exceptional balance between the mid, high, and low tones. The instrument is hand carved from attractive tone woods selected for their superb resonance and quality of tone with a solid spruce front and flamed maple back and sides, finished in Stentor's super-shiny, hard-wearing Shellac varnish, which improves the tonal qualities of the instrument whilst highlighting the beautiful grain. It also features durable ebony fittings, traditional inlaid purfling for protection and prevention of large cracks forming, and a good-quality bridge, as well as a metal composite tail piece with screw integral adjusters.
The Stentor Conservatoire comes with a selected good-quality Brazilwood bow with natural white horsehair, a full mounted ebony frog, and a lightweight hard case with an integral cover. As opposed to the Student I and II, a hard case provides greater protection for the instrument, making it easier to transport to and from music lessons or performances. This is aided by the addition of shoulder straps, so the case can be carried on the back.
With a superb tone and high-quality components, the Stentor Conservatoire cello gives you an amazing instrument for a great price.
