Introducing the Yamaha G1F grand piano c.1994
With just one owner since purchased new from our Haslemere showroom in 1994, our Yamaha G1 has been little used and is supplied freshly serviced by our house technicians.
The G1 is an ancestor of today's C1X, measuring 5'3" or 160cm long and benefiting from refined features such as duplex scaling, a solid soundboard, and a sostenuto pedal to enable selective sustain.
This high quality Japanese-built baby grand is finished in an elegant polished ebony lacquer with brass fittings, just buffed and polished to remove scratches and surface swirls, with a three position lid prop.
It has a light and responsive action, while the tone is remarkably warm and mellow for a Yamaha instrument of its age, and it would be well suited to the domestic living room or smaller school performance space.
One could be forgiven for thinking that this is a much more recent piano, it's in superb condition and is highly recommended for pianists of all playing abilities.
