This is a brilliant sounding and very user-friendly set of djembes. Each drum has a brightly coloured and lightweight synthetic shell. They have non-slip rubber bottom so will stay conveniently in place when they are being played. The pre-tuned head offers brilliant sound quality without having to concern yourself with the complications sometimes associated with more traditional rope tuned models. However, this Viva Rhythm set is particularly brilliant because the pre tuned heads on the larger 2 drums simply 'pop-off' which means they can be conveniently stacked inside one and other, Russian doll style! This makes them brilliantly easy to store, taking up much less space and means they can be moved easily too.
They are incredibly easy to assemble too - you really do simply need to pop the head back in and its ready to play!
Whilst the 10'' and 12'' heads supplied are plastic and create a brilliant and sharp sound you can also purchase Napa heads for a softer sound quality and, of course, changing the heads could not be simpler!
