Introducing the Yamaha b2 Upright Piano

The b2 is the mid-range model in the b Series and is the first model in the whole Yamaha lineup that comes in a traditional style cabinet. This gives it the elegant front pedestal legs and castors making it easier to move, while the wider cabinet helps give the b2 a richer tone than the b1 as there is more space inside the instrument for the sound to resonate.

A key technical improvement over the popular b1 is the b2's solid spruce soundboard, which helps deliver additional warmth and tonal quality.

The Yamaha b2 is a tremendously popular instrument and looks particularly stunning in the Polished Walnut finish!

Also available with Silent Technology - allowing you to play silently, using headphones, any time of day or night.

High quality spruce soundboard

As the first model in the range to have a traditional cabinet, it is only fitting that it is the first model to have a solid spruce soundboard too! The soundboard Yamaha b2 is made from solid Alaskan spruce affording it a deeper and richer tone than it's otherwise compact dimensions would suggest.

Modern production facility

Delivery methods

We despatch orders quickly and efficiently. Orders processed before 1pm are very often despatched on the same day (subject to payment terms and stock availability). Orders placed after our couriers have collected will usually be shipped the following day. We use a variety of couriers and shipping methods to ensure that orders are shipped and delivered quickly and safely. We can call upon a number of additional couriers during busy periods, and also operate a private specialist service for acoustic and digital piano deliveries.

Collections can be made Monday to Friday, 9:00am –5:30pm. You can collect from our showroom where there is ample car-parking available.

Select ‘Click & Collect’ as the delivery method when you reach the checkout page. Your order will be processed quickly, and we will inform you by email when it is ready for collection (usually within 24 hours, subject to stock availability). Please bring a copy of your order confirmation with you when collecting.

If you would like to order from us, but you live outside the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, or Republic of Ireland, please email us at sales@chamberlainmusic.com with your enquiry and we will do our best to help.

If your basket contains items from more than one of these categories, you will be charged a blended rate (usually equivalent to the highest individual carriage charge). Some extremely large and built-to-order products are shipped direct from the manufacturer and are subject to further surcharges (see individual product pages for more information).

Orders paid before 3pm are normally despatched the same day subject to availability. If you need something in a hurry, we can normally organise next day delivery on products we have in stock. Call us for a quote.

Couriers are contracted to deliver Monday to Friday only, with the exception of our private piano delivery team who deliver on Saturdays where applicable.

I visited first to try out pianos. No problem arranging this, and the welcome was good. I was left to try out pianos without anyone breathing down my neck, which was ideal. The model I chose was the one which fitted my budget, and which had the tone and touch which suited me best. Delivery was well organised and smooth. Well pleased.

I purchased a Yamaha B2 piano from Chamberlain, and the experience from beginning to end was exceptional. I reviewed the product on line and decided to call to discuss the price and delivery options. Once we have concluded the purchase, Jon passed me over to team that arrange the delivery. I have recently purchased a second hand Yamaha B2 Silent Piano and I would like to say the I found the whole process was very enjoyable. Nothing was a problem to the Dominic who was cheerful and very helpful. I was part exchanging a digital piano and taking out interest free credit for the purchase. Nothing was a problem and all was arranged in no time, without a hiccup. The delivery was prompt and again the staff were friendly and nothing was too much of a problem. The piano itself is just great even though it is second hand; the servicing and polishing etc by Chamberlain Music is second to none. I'm just awaiting the first tuning of the piano which was included in the price. I'm sure the service will be exceptional. I'm very happy with the whole experience and Chamberlain Music will be my first port of call for any future musical developments.
