Introducing the Yamaha SU7 Upright Piano

The Yamaha SU7 is without doubt the finest upright piano Yamaha has ever built, and no expense has been spared in making the SU7 a very special, once in a lifetime piano purchase.

Made in small numbers for those who simply require the very best, the Yamaha SU7 is designed to outperform many handmade German instruments.

The 131cm tall Yamaha SU7 has the same key length as you would find in a grand piano for a balanced, expressive touch, while the expansive sound chamber and matured spruce soundboard deliver a tone that is powerful, yet subtle when required.

Expertly handcrafted by the most experienced master craftsmen, the refinement of the Yamaha SU7 is unsurpassable.

An instrument of sublime rarity

Made in very limited numbers, the Yamaha SU Series is designed primarily for the European market and represents the very pinnacle of Japanese upright piano manufacture. The finest tonewoods and action components are assembled at Yamaha's premium piano facility in Hamamatsu, Japan.

Bespoke handcrafting and refinement

The Yamaha SU Series is handmade by the same artisan craftsmen who produce the class leading CF Series concert grand pianos, with its wooden components specially selected for maturity and harmonic quality from Yamaha's wood processing plant in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.

Superior component quality

The finest quality Japanese action components are selected for the SU series, each designed to maximise expression and tonality.

Luxurious, elegant cabinetry

The Yamaha SU7 is beautifully proportioned with luxurious touches including a leather lined music desk and a soft-close fallboard, which retracts into the cabinet of the piano to avoid spoiling the elegant, classic upright styling.

Preparation is key

Each instrument leaves Yamaha workshops in optimum condition, with the highest level of quality control and ready for a lifetime of service. The piano is then bespoke-prepared by our in house technical team prior to sale to bring out the very best qualities of each individual instrument.
