Percussion Plus Honestly Made

The PP1762 and the PP627 are part of our Honestly Made range and have been manufactured in independent family workshops that are too small to join fairtrade groups or are located in countries that do not have such organisations. As well as creating fun instruments with aesthetic designs, the methods used to collect the materials and create the products are ethical and sustainable.

PP1762 – Our Percussion Plus Honestly Made pair of Indian Bells are a traditional percussion instrument from India which can be used to aid meditation and sound therapy. The tone produced is rich and long lasting and the sound produced is high-pitched. These cymbals have a simple design but a still very aesthetically beautiful. The dark chord that connects the two bells barely affects the vibrations which allows for the rich and long lasting tone. These bells are often used in folk and devotional music, particularly in Gujarati and Marathi traditions.

PP627 – This pair of cymbals is joined with a leather strap and have been made using sustainable resources using fair trade principles. Originally crafted in Nepal using traditional materials and methods, the cymbals have been embossed with the ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ design which is a commonly seen mantra in Buddhism. They also come with a colourful drawstring pouch for protection, storage and transportation.
