About the timpani

The timpani is essential in a plethora of orchestral music, from Brahms to Beethoven, Ravel to Rachmaninoff and beyond. Also known as kettle drums, kettledrums, or informally as timps, they can be tuned to the chromatic scale and belong to the tuned orchestral percussion family. Typically used in a combination of sizes, they are staple in the modern symphony orchestra.

Our range provides options for schools, music hubs, music institutions, orchestras, concert halls and concert bands.
