The soprano, alto and bass diatonic halves in the Percussion Plus Harmony range of xylophones all come with beaters as well as F-sharp and B-flat note bars to alter the xylophones scale for even more versatility making them even better value!
For school and county orchestras or for percussion students looking to develop their skills, the Majestic Gateway 3.5 octave xylophone is the perfect choice. With paduak bars and the option to add resonators it is a great optio

About xylophones
With origins in southeast Asia, the xylophone is part of the tuned percussion family including metallophones, glockenspiels, bells, chime bars and hand chimes. A xylophone typically consists of a set of wooden keys arranged in the fashion of the keyboard of the piano. At Chamberlain Music we can provide you with the different ranges from soprano to bass. The resonance chambers which create a full sound quality are much larger in the Bass xylophones so the volume on the bass notes match the natural projection of the soprano range.
You can pair these xylophones with more tuned percussion such as hand chimes, bells or Jumbie Jams and form a full class tuned percussion orchestra all together in the classroom or in a school orchestra.
