Introducing the Yamaha DXL1K powered PA speaker

The DXL1K is an innovative column-style powered speaker system capable of filling a wide area with high-quality and uniform sound. Its lightweight construction and simple assembly means it can be easily carried and can be set up in seconds.

DXL1K features a high-output 1100W amplifier powering a high-frequency array speaker system with 10 x 1.5" drivers and a large 12” subwoofer, producing sound pressure levels of up to 125 dB SPL. It delivers clear, high-quality sound consistently with an impressive 170° horizontal and 30° vertical coverage.

It is the perfect addition to your STAGEPAS 1K MKII PA system, further expanding your sound reach and increasing your output power for larger venues or outdoor performances.

Setup in seconds

Simply place the 2 spacers and speaker unit into the subwoofer and setup is essentially done, with no cables, speaker stand, or additional gear required beyond the main unit. All you need is in the package.

Class-leading 12-inch subwoofer

Despite housing a 12-inch speaker unit that is the largest in its class, the DXL1K boasts the smallest cabinet on the market for a subwoofer of this size and power. This speaker also features Yamaha’s Twisted Flare Port technology, which reduces port wind noise that can occur with compact bass-reflex subwoofers. The low-end output is maximised, producing very deep, powerful, distortion-free bass.

Expand your STAGEPAS system

Linking a DXL1K and STAGEPAS-1KMKII provides greater coverage and increased output power for large-scale performances. Both stereo and mono playback are supported, and when the STAGEPAS 1K mkII is set to mono, the inputs of the DXL1K and STAGEPAS 1K mkII can still be used.

Please note: the DXL1K can only be (optionally) used alongside the STAGEPAS-1KMKII, the STAGEPAS-1K is not supported.

J-Curve slim line array

The high-frequency speaker array is comprised of 10 small-diameter 1.5-inch speakers. By adopting a J-curve array configuration, the high-frequency unit achieves vertical coverage of 30° across a span of 170°, delivering clear, high quality sound consistently over longer distances.

High-grade polyurea coating

The lightweight ABS cabinet of subwoofer features a high-grade polyurea coating to prevent wear and tear during transport. It is light enough to make the system extremely portable, but also rugged and scratch-resistant enough to withstand harsh performance environments.

Fitted cover included

The DXL1K comes with its own cover which, in addition to protecting the unit, has pouches for both spacers and speaker array, as well as additional storage for accessories to further streamline system setup and teardown.
