Introducing the Odyssey Debut OTR140 Bb trumpet outfit

The Debut OTR140 is Odyssey's entry level trumpet. As with all the model's in their brass range, it has been meticulously designed down to the finest details by craftsman Peter Pollard, and the attractive price tag, generous bore size (11.68mm/0.46” bore) and the smooth operation of the stainless steel valves make it a favourite among students. The bore size alone combines the best of projection volume and air flow, delivering an abundance of signature trumpet sounds with exceptional tonal qualities.

Designed for maximum projection

With a brass bell (123mm/4.84” diameter) and tapered rose brass lead pipe, brass tuning slides, water key and stainless steel valves, the Odyssey Debut Bb trumpet is a real eye catcher without doubt, but it’s also the performance to cost ratio that makes this beautiful trumpet a winner. Players from students to seriously professional musicians have commented on the excellent response, superb intonation and the high quality materials chosen in the construction. A highly responsive top spring valve action is encouraging for beginners, and four tuning slides ensure you'll never be caught out, whatever the conditions.

Everything you need to get started

The OTR140 is supplied with a 7C size mouthpiece, with its shallower, medium cup size is ideal for beginners. Offering less effort to produce smooth sounds and reach the higher registers, whilst combining the natural deeper, darker tones the trumpet is known for, tones that are unique among brass instruments and play a major role within orchestras, jazz and commercial bands. The response, intonation and all around performance of this entry level model. coupled with the high quality materials, make this an ideal instrument for the first time player, teacher, or the most experienced musician.
