The Percussion Plus tunable tambour hand drum is a versatile frame drum suited to classroom music, percussion groups and general musical use. Available in 8", 10" and 12" sizes, it offers a simple and accessible way to explore rhythm and percussion.
Featuring a wooden frame and natural goatskin head, this hand drum produces a warm, resonant sound with a traditional playing feel.
The tunable design allows the head tension to be adjusted to suit different playing styles and tonal preferences. Tuning is carried out using the supplied metal tuning key, which fits into the tuning points around the frame to tighten or loosen the drum head. Supplied with a beater, the tambour can be played by hand or with the included beater to create a range of rhythmic patterns and dynamic sounds. Durable and easy to play, it is ideal for schools, music groups and percussion setups.
