Introducing the pTrumpet plastic Bb trumpet outfit

The pTrumpet is an authentic musical instrument, and its plastic construction gives it the benefit of being lightweight and easily portable. It has a full range valve system that has been designed and developed to be light and durable, whilst offering superb sound quality. Its ABS plastic design means it weighs less than half that of a brass trumpet, which is ideal for younger players who find difficulty with the weight and balance of a regular trumpet. The precision plastic engineering ensures that you get a full, focused sound, making it an attractive purchase for seasoned professionals who require a second instrument for rehearsals and gigging. The construction of the pTrumpet is extremely solid; it will take knocks and scrapes that would severely damage a brass trumpet. For a slightly more ambitious learner the hyTech pTrumpet, which combines metal and plastic, might be a better alternative.

Easy maintenance

It is also very easy to keep clean and maintain; you only need to use warm water and traditional slide creams or oils. This no-fuss maintenance style makes these trumpets ideal not only for beginners, but also group classes and school music sessions. pInstruments are serious about making music fun and accessible for all, but are also conscious and considerate of how their processes can affect the environment. Working hard to reduce their environmental impact, pInstruments can proudly announce they are completely carbon neutral - but that is not all.

Here is how pInstruments consider the "3 Rs" during all of their processes to further reduce their environmental impact.

REDUCE

All instruments are made using ABS plastic, consuming fewer resources than the manufacture of traditional brass instruments.
Every time pInstruments make an instrument out of plastic rather than brass, the amount of CO2 produced is reduced considerably.
pInstruments is the first instrument manufacturer to offer only carbon-neutral musical instruments independently assessed by Carbon Footprint, the UK’s leading validator of greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) and carbon emissions (CO2e).

REUSE

The beauty of ABS is that any excess materials left over from the process can simply be melted down and re-used!
pInstruments are virtually indestructible, but in the case of a broken instrument, they can provide many replacement parts.
If you have an instrument you are no longer using, you can always pass it onto a friend! This reduces waste, and provides the added bonus of sharing and encouraging music making with others.

RECYCLE

pInstruments are recyclable under group 7, and can be recycled at certain central locations or by recycling specialists.
