Introducing the Octopus Flamed maple with solid cedar top soprano ukulele

The featured solid cedar top has been especially selected to produce the best possible tone whilst providing a naturally beautiful finish. With contrasting grains, the solid cedar top with flamed maple back and sides are combined to create a ukulele you won’t want to put down!

Part of the Octopus ‘Solid Top’ range, the solid cedar top naturally vibrates to produce a sweet and complex tone. A fantastic ukulele for those looking to start getting serious about playing, and it would hold its own on stage, as well as in practice and group sessions. Each ukulele features the highest standard of finish, including perfectly rounded off frets to protect your fingers, NuBone nut and saddle as well as Aquila Nylgut strings for optimal tone production. Quality components

The materials used in each Octopus ukulele have been carefully selected for tone production and longevity. A tie bar bridge is accurately bonded to the body for excellent sound production and silver chrome diecast tuners offer reliable tuning in a shiny finish. The side walls are fully lined for sound projection and a high-quality appearance.



Stunning design

The light brown solid cedar top effortlessly contrasts with the darker maple back and sides which is accented by a genuine Mother of Pearl rosette that catches the eye. This ukulele also features the iconic Octowave headstock with an Octopus logo.



Graph Tech NuBone XB nut and saddle

Nubone doesn't damp string vibration like plastic - instead, it transfers the optimum frequencies to the ukulele. Essentially, this new material helps produce more volume and a better tone.



Aquila Nylgut® strings

Each ukulele comes fitted with Aquila Nylgut® strings as standard - the best in the world for intonation and tone. Produced exclusively in Italy, the Aquila factory manufactures approximately 300,000 ukulele strings every day – that’s enough to re-string 75,000 Octopus ukuleles!

Size and range

The soprano (or standard) is the most widely used size of ukulele, measuring 21” (53cm) in total. It has twelve frets and a total range between C4 and A5.
